Debora Coelho Tax Delinquent Property Taken by City

The home of At-large Councilor Debora Coelho's late mother Maria N. Amaral has been taken by New Bedford for Tax Delinquency. Debora Coelho became Trustee for the property after a stroke disabled her mother Maria. The property address is 32 Bullard Street.

According to neighbors, for several months the single family home at 32 Bullard St. was rented to numerous unrelated individuals. Police were often called to the location at this time. The property was vandalized and was subsequently deemed uninhabitable and was condemned.

In 2015, Coelho voted against an Ordinance which imposed tougher rules on Landlords. Thanks to Debora Coelho, New Bedford taxpayers are now stuck with a property that can't be sold because it is in deplorable condition. No doubt, the learned Coelho has a good explanation for all this. However, for those of us not as highly educated as her, it looks like she sucked all the money out of her mother's estate and walked ran away leaving others holding the bag.

At some point, Coelho was relieved of her duties as Trustee, Guardian, Healthcare Proxy, and Caregiver for her mother. Maria N. Amaral died December 10, 2016 at Forest View nursing home in Wareham. In a fake unauthorized obituary, Debora claimed that Maria died in Debora's home under Debora's care. The obituary was not legally authorized and was delisted from the funeral home website. Attorneys intervened at the last moment and the unauthorized obituary was never published in the Standard Times. In addition, Debora also attempted to make the funeral private. Ironically, Debora never attended the funeral when she became irate after her scheme was thwarted. Debora's plan was to make the funeral for her mother Maria N. Amaral ALL ABOUT DEBORA.
